I was placed with the Camp Harbor View Leadership Academy. The academy is an after-school program for “young leaders” in grades nine through twelve, catering to students from underserved neighborhoods in Boston. As part of this service-learning experience, volunteers such as myself provided the students with, 1. Academic support, 2. Relationship development, 3. Role Modeling and, 4. Exploration of career pathways.
