Abstract: A group of our S-L students led a virtual college & career panel entitled “Biological Journeys: A Northeastern University Student Panel” at the annual Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts STEM Conference. The goal of this panel was to give high school-aged girls a chance to ask our students anything about pursuing a STEM degree and college in general. This artifact shows the guiding questions our students came up in preparation for the event, as well as the responses they brainstormed for each question. They covered topics such as why they chose their major, how they prepared for college applications, and what it’s like being a woman in STEM.
