For decades the city of Boston has been a beacon of progress and hope in New England –attracting families from many parts of the region and the world. But as its population has grown, and many families have come to call the city home, and with-it children have been joining the public school system. Now, from support staff to teachers, Boston Public Schools must rethink how they engage with families, ensuring an effective communication from the classroom to the kitchen table. Our project seeks to interdepartmentally align the agency with goals and metrics to measure feedback all to engage with parents and guardians in an unprecedented way for the city of Boston.
