Course: HSCI2500 Public Health Nutrition in the Community

This artifact contains compiled recipe cards created by our class for Old West Church. After learning about nutrition and food insecurity over the course of the semester, students altered recipes to make them more affordable and to incorporate herbs and vegetables that one of our partners, Old West Church, grows in their garden. Recipes were chosen to be reflective of the cultures represented at Old West Church, and were altered to enhance their nutritional value, while remaining authentic to the original dish.
