Course: HUSV1101 Social Change and Human Services
Seeing as students from the HUSV 1101, Social Change and Human Services, performed direct service with their community partners, we have collected a myriad of student testimonies. In these accounts, students were able to put into words the impact of their service, takeaways from this experience, and how their previous thinking has shifted surrounding marginalized populations, social issues addressed by these incredible organizations, and the Boston community. In this manner, our students were able to conduct their own internal thoughtful reflection, using their own words, on the importance of this service opportunity and its lasting effect on their perspectives around civil engagement and social change.
