Our group did our research report on sustainable living. We wanted to find out more about the sustainability habits of Northeastern students on campus, and what HEAT can do as an organization to a) improve the sustainability habits of students, and b) impassion students
towards sustainable initiatives.
In the culmination of our research project, we utilized ethos, logos, and pathos to relate to our community and audience, as well as make the content more digestible for a community that may not understand environmental science and the importance of sustainability. We spent a large portion of the semester in ENGW3315 practicing the usage of these techniques and analyzing the work of others to both utilize these strategies better, or to see what we can improve upon.
While educating Northeastern students, we also learned
more about sustainability ourselves through HEAT meetings, speakers, presentations, and learned things that we continue to utilize in our daily lives.
