The following artifacts are four student-created StoryMaps–developed in ArcGIS Online–showcasing detailed participatory modeling proposals to engage the community in collaboratively addressing flooding and extreme heat in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Each site includes stakeholder engagement plans grounded in the principles of anti-oppressive community engagement, along with proposals for participatory activities: photovoice, participatory zine-making and/or mapping, causal loop diagramming, fuzzy cognitive mapping, and spatial simulations. These StoryMaps were created through valuable interaction with our community partners at La Colaborativa, Utile Design, and the City of Chelsea.
