Course: Intermediate German 2 (Fuchs)
This website contains student reflections on the meaning of their service as well as some photos. Through the service-learning project, the students were given the opportunity to engage virtually with German-speaking elders through regular interviews. The main focus of the interview was on the elders’ unique experiences and perspectives and meant to provide the students with a broader worldview on some course themes (e.g. history, immigration). In addition, the exchanges provided the elders with an opportunity to engage in a multicultural dialogue during the pandemic.
