Throughout the semester, students collaborated with Northeastern’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) on a variety of projects. This artifact is a presentation of the student’s final project, for which they conducted research on recruitment and retention for EWB. This research topic was created in collaboration with EWB, and the students came to important conclusions about why individuals choose to come to EWB and remain with EWB. This research was presented to our class, as well as to the executive board of EWB, and it is informed by knowledge the students gained as members of EWB and in collaboration with the EWB team.
