This semester our Service-Learning volunteers worked with Boston-founded organization Sitters for Scholars-a first of its kind organization working to provide free babysitting services for single-parent and low income parents working toward their college degrees. Each week our students worked with our Community Partner to either plan or participate in a different fundraiser activity and for their final week of Service-Learning our students planned and hosted their own fundraiser in collaboration with the Northeastern Black Student Association.
