We participated in a remote Global Brigade with the Global Business Brigades team from Panama. Our client was a small business owner based in the region of Darién, Panama, and worked distributing products from Panama City to the rural indigenous communities around Darién. Their main product was the paruma, a traditional indigenous dress/skirt worn by women. The client purchased the fabric from Panama City and crafted the parumas at their house before delivering them. We had weekly consulting meetings with the client to understand the business and what could possibly be improved upon; these meetings included our group, our client(s), Uriel Cedeño and Nancy, and our translator, Ashly Serrano. After about 6 meetings we put together this presentation and presented to our client with deliverables we believed could help their business. *NOTE: Some of this presentation is in Spanish, as our clients spoke Spanish.
